China Glaze Crackle!

I’ve been a little obsessed with nail polish lately (Lately? How about all the time! lol) and wanted to share my current mani with you.

I wanted to play with my China Glaze Crackle polish in Lightning Bolt, which is the white one. So I put down 2 coats of Orly Basket Case & then went to town!

How awesome is that?! Here you can see how different coats look. My thumb & pointer finger have some very thin spots that cracked a ton but aren’t opaque white. My other 3 fingers have thicker coats & the cracks are chunkier plus the polish is much more opaque. Personally, I’m a fan of the thicker coats!

They’re baaaaack!

What’s back? MAC Lustre Drops!

If you’ve been a fan of MAC for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard of them. They seem to be a big fan favourite.

On the MAC website it states “A bronzer that applies like liquid sun.” How pretty does that sound? Try and tell me that doesn’t sound awesome.

I got the Lustre Drops in Pink Rebel. It’s a light pink toned shimmer. Sun Rush is a more golden yellow shimmer.

Straight from the bottle. You can just tell it’s going to be gorgeous? Can’t you?

Blended out. I love it! It might look really shimmery on my hand, but trust me, on the face it doesn’t stand out so much. I tend to do my makeup very light handed, but I found myself putting a fair amount of this on. It’s just so pretty! & it gives you a nice healthy glow. I used it as a highlighter today, & I just love it!

My current favourite lipstick

This is MAC Sweetie! It’s a lustre & I am completely in love with it right now. I think I’ve worn this more than any other lipstick to date.

It’s a very pretty neutral pink with a small amount of shimmer to it. It just sort of perks up your lips & gives them a bit of colour. It is fairly smooth on the lips as well!

Zoya Intimate Collection

On Thursday, March 31, 2011 I attended the Marilyn Denis Spring Bonanza Show! It was amazing to say the least!Not only did I get to do a little modeling, I received a TON of free goodies! Rimmel: Moisture Renew Lipstick

I wanted to share some nice drugstore lipsticks with you today!

Rimmel makes some pretty good ones as far as feeling smooth & moisturizing goes. If you find most lipsticks to be drying, you should definitely give these a try. They have a good colour range & feel quite hydrating on the lips.

I’ve got these in Rose Shimmer & Berry Rose. Both nice colours.

These have a very slight shimmer in them, but don’t come off as frosty.

They also have quite good colour payoff. You can see here that they are shiny & they do feel nice & creamy on the lips.

I think these are a great option if you are looking for something affordable & moisturizing.
